Dear reader,
I am Daniel Navarro, founder of GOAT Drones Solutions SL. And starting a project like this is one of the many crazy things I have decided to face along my way.
Hopefully time, our know-how and the trust of our customers and partners serve to demonstrate that perhaps it was not so crazy after all. It’s not for nothing that I’ve been working for other companies on very challenging projects for years now. What started as a hobby turned into job opportunities in courageous companies that decided to bet on me.
My most sincere recognition and thanks to Jordi Llorens and Fixers City, for taking me to film with them, providing an aerial perspective. To Daniel Granja and Felix Revilla, from High Line Division, for taking me to Kuwait to perform technical inspections with 25kg gasoline drones from vans prepared as advanced command center, carrying RGB, IR and UV camera integrations, in addition to LiDAR systems that cost more than an apartment. To Adrián Plazas and Kike Fernández from General Drones for giving me the opportunity to work with drones in beach rescue and pollution control on board a Salvamento Marítimo salvage vessel. To Fuvex for taking me again to the mountains to perform inspections in the middle of nowhere, testing the ability to be decisive. And again to Daniel Granja for my time at HLD Store, where I have been able to specialize in what happens before drone operations and make them possible, aeronautical consultancy: permit management, documentary coordination with AESA, etc.
On the other hand, in my eagerness to try to do good with drones, I joined the association of Civil Defense volunteers of Reus and ASEMERPAS, to whom I send all my recognition and respects. There is nothing stronger than the heart of a volunteer.
From all this experience came the idea of setting up on my own. An experience that is not entirely foreign to me. And so this is how this first step is taken.
Thank you for having come this far. Whether you are a collaborator, a free agent, a member of another company, a volunteer emergency pilot or a simple web surfer, let’s continue to make a safer and more efficient world possible with these tools.
See you in the skies.
