Operational RECAP

We have been missing for a while, but there is an explanation: the last few weeks have been spent planning and executing a series of operations, some of which are still in the coordination phase. The purpose of this post is to share with the reader three operations that have coincided over the last few weeks. All of them consisted of field operations with drones and, for the most part, with a heavy load of aeronautical coordination.

Operation of a heavylifter gasoline hybrid drone

A client specialised in telecommunications requires a drone operator experienced in the handling of self-built, gas-powered UAS to be integrated into its team for the integral management of the system. The drone is a DRONERPA H435 built ex-profeso to have a high load capacity, reliability and autonomy.

GOAT Drones Solutions has been chosen to integrate the UAS into its own operator, adapting its documentation and EAROS to accommodate it and ensure legal compliance in its use and deployment.

On the other hand, thanks to our experience in handling drones of this type in previous HLD operations for the Kuwaiti government, we have sufficient know-how to be able to plan the missions, manually operate the unit and carry out its checks, maintenance and repairs. Filming of the popular race Trail Caballero de Ambite

We were involved in the filming of the sports event Trail Caballero de Ambite with our stabilised and FPV drones, for which we did some scouting the day before, exploring the route and taking the opportunity to capture evergreen shots for the City Council of Ambite and, on the day of the event, with two pilots we covered three locations.

You can check the final reel on the Trail Caballero de Ambite Instagram account and, if you wish, the BTS video on our Youtube channel.

We thank the City Council of Ambite for their trust and facilities to be able to carry out the work, as well as all the staff involved and collaborating companies.

Drone filming at the Air and Space Museum (Spanish Air Force)

Probably one of the projects in which we have put more soul so far has been the filming with UAS, both stabilized and FPV, of the Air and Space Museum of the Spanish Air Force of the Spanish Ministry of Defence. For GOAT Drones Solutions it has been a real honour and privilege to be the first company to be able to carry out audiovisual work with drones in this space, both in the outdoor courtyard and inside the hangars.

The aeronautical coordinations in this sense have been complex since it has been necessary to notify the Ministry of the Interior, coordinate with CECAF, obtain permission from the Museum itself and, especially, coordinate with Cuatro Vientos (SAERCO) an EARO and the operation itself, which has been limited to a height ceiling of 30m AGL due to being extremely close to the runway. From GOAT Drones we would like to thank the collaboration of all the managers involved, who have allowed us to carry out a job that we are happy and proud to have taken part in. You can find more information in our BTS video about the project and enjoy some images in the corporate reel or whitelabel reel.

In summary, we are happy to be able to continue to have daily opportunities to demonstrate that from GOAT Drones Solutions we can provide comprehensive services with drones, from aeronautical and office coordination to handling stabilised and FPV drones, commercial and self-built in the field, as well as video post-processing, always prioritising operational safety, legal security and excellence in the work.
