Thoughts at the end of 2025

The end of 2025 is approaching, and I would like to take this opportunity not only to express my best wishes to everyone who has made it this far, but also to show my gratitude to all the partners, customers, and collaborators who have decided to trust GOAT Drones to carry out their technological projects throughout this year and who have lent a hand when needed.

2025 was the year this journey began. In fact, the company has been operating for less than a year, and although, as is often said, Rome wasn’t built in a day, a lot has been achieved despite the fact that it was seen as a leap of faith, a leap into the unknown, or madness. Mind you, I don’t mean to imply that it has been easy, simple, or a gift. If GOAT Drones has achieved milestones such as participating in various types of UAS projects (filming, inspection, security, training, R&D, etc.), enjoying the trust of entities such as associations, city councils, public entities, and leading private companies in their respective sectors, it has sometimes been due to stubbornness, an obsession with demonstrating capabilities, and delivering results.

Who would have thought when I published the first article on this corporate blog that, by the end of the company’s first year, I would be able to say with pride and satisfaction that we have managed to work on such exciting and ambitious projects as:

  • Management of flight permits and filming with UAS for a BBC television program, with Fixers City
  • Filming of television content for Warner Bros Discovery, with Spanish Fixers
  • Filming of cultural events for Imperial Service
  • Filming of the Trail Caballero de Ambite popular race
  • Operation of a hybrid gasoline drone for a client and its documentary adaptation, with Dronerpa
  • Filming for the Spanish Air Force Museum of Aeronautics and Astronautics
  • Providing introductory training on drones for children for the municipalities of Fustiñana and Fontellas
  • Drone flight training for the Army, with Vigsecdrone
  • Theoretical and practical training in the use of UAS for rescue and tactical use of UAS for the Spanish Marine Corps, with Bluedrone
  • Training on UAS at the Vocational Training Institute, with Vigsecdrone
  • Testing and use cases for DJI Enterprise range equipment, with MCR
  • Filming, photogrammetry, and inspection of a solar farm for the Aliaga City Council
  • Collaboration in a beach rescue campaign with UAS, with a leading company in the sector
  • Exploration and mapping of the Cova Urbana de Tarragona, with SIET and Drones4Geology
  • Training and public safety campaign with UAS for Civil Protection of Reus and Guàrdia Urbana de Reus
  • Logistical inventory in warehouse with UAS, with Air Drone Logistics
  • Filming for 501st Spanish Garrison and the Honorable City Council of Zaragoza

Once again, to all the public and private institutions with which we have had the privilege of collaborating during 2025, THANK YOU. And not only for the opportunity to demonstrate our capabilities, but also for your letters of recognition and recommendation, which can be found on the “About us” page of this website.

And what awaits us in 2026?

The desire to continue enjoying the support and trust of our partners and customers, strengthen our capabilities, embark on new projects that allow us to continue expanding our expertise in new fields, and develop projects that enable us to scale our operations, while always guaranteeing our three main pillars:

  • Operational safety
  • Legal certainty
  • Excellence at work

We know we are not perfect, that we have a lot to learn and improve on. And this is our greatest motivation to keep striving every day. And that concludes our recap of 2025, but not before offering another thank you to those who have accompanied us and helped us grow.

Sincerely yours,

Daniel Navarro
